Thousands of pages have been written about buying and selling companies; most were written for deal professionals, and most owners will never have time to find the part that matters. The Library is the Institute’s answer: the works that have earned a place, each with a candid reading of what it argues and what to do about it.
Every entry here is a real, verifiable work, classified by where it helps in the journey, summarized in the Institute’s own words, and held up against the rest of the shelf, because serious authorities disagree and pretending otherwise is a disservice. This is a founding shelf, not a finished one: it grows deliberately, a few rigorously read works at a time, and the Concierge is being taught the shelf as it grows. If a work you rate is missing, tell the Institute.
Filter by stage of the journey, or browse the shelf. Each entry opens the Institute’s full reading.
